Our Availability
Lumieria is usually found hard at work in our design lab, working on one or more projects, either for existing clients, or our own product lines. If your project is a good match for what we can powerfully deliver, we can usually find time for it, especially if given a little lead time to schedule it in.
Working with Lumieria
Depending on the needs of your project, we may be able to help in a number of different ways. At minimum, when you hire us, you'll instantly have the support of our founder,
Dave Loomis, a creative, experienced, senior engineer, technology architect and designer. Depending on the needs, and timeframes, of your project, he can be available to work both remotely and onsite, anywhere in the world.
For longer-term, large-scale projects, we are able to build a project team tailored to the job. Lumieria has a deep network of art, design, media production and engineering contacts that we call to deliver exciting, impactful and solid results, as well as the management experience to guide an effort smoothly along.
We tend to find that for a typical design project, an initial round of knowledge transfer, planning and organization on site is able to generate a large amount of work that can be done remotely, connected via teleconference, passing some savings on to you. That said, each project is different. Once we've established a good match with your project, we'll work with you to plan the work in an effective, and cost-effective way. Although we gravitate towards projects lasting less than six months, under the right circumstances, we'd even consider providing you a full-time employee. We also have a day rate, if you're interested in just a quick consultation, or a face-to-face meeting.

Its true. We're good at quite a few things, but we're also
NOT good at
even more things -- and will be the first to admit it. For reasons of skill, scope, timing and even personality, we may
not be a good match for your project.
Before we take on a new project, we make sure there's a good match between what you need, and what we can
powerfully provide. If we don't think we're the best fit for your project, we'll tell you so, and put the word out to our contacts to help find someone who might be. We simply love to meet people who are up to big things, and to help them succeed, even when that means stepping out of the way.
