Timeliner: Announcing Lumieria Newest Product...

We are proud to announce our second product... a visual timelining tool. So far, we're calling it 'Timeliner,' because, well... that's what it does!

Our Inspiration: The Flow Of Time

We've all heard the phrase ' Time flies when you're having fun! ' In the aftermath, we sometimes wonder things like:
  • What just happened?
  • When did I do that?
  • Was that before this, or after?
  • What was I planning to do next?
Timeliner is great at helping you remember the past, and plan for the future.

Background

Here at Lumieria, we work with time a lot. Whether it be within industrial grade animation tools, or project tracking, time-based information is often relevant to us. Thus, we wanted a tool to capture, and recall, a sequence of events as they flow through time. The timing of things, helps us remember where we've been, and where we're trying to go. Our motivation for sharing this in a product is simple. If we find it useful, so might you! So, we've packaged our capability into an app, and are going to make it available for others to use.

Why You Might Like It

Timeliner has been built to visually represent events as they happen, or will happen, in a timeline. This can mean different things to different people. It can be a personal, or shared, stroll down 'memory lane,' to capture the timing of favorite life memories -- places lived, vacations taken, friendships, loves, projects undertaken, and/or entire life chapters. Timelining can also help plan the future -- projects, trips, finances, etc. -- anything that will happen on a date, in a year, at an instant or in a timeframe. Using a timeline we can quantify and track things in our lives -- recording our significant instants as they happen, for later analysis or recall. It is a generic, and flexible, capability, and we can't wait to see what other people use it for! Finally, we've imbued the app with some of our favorite things... why not have a look at some of them on the Timeliner Features page?
