A visual approach

We believe in visuals. Color matters, and so does shape. They are key parts of the language of our own personal systems, and we bet you can use them too. We've built powerful visual cues and personalization into the heart of Timeliner. Initial versions of the application allow you to set the coloring and transparency of timelined events. Later, we hope to add images, font control, shape control, URL previews and other visual cues to help clarify what happened, or will happen, and when.

Lots Of Time!

Lots of time is something many of us wish we had. With Lumieria's Timeliner, you have lots, and lots, of time avaiable. You can fluidly zoom in down to sub-microsecond precision, and all the way out to view a billion years at once. This ought to please anyone tracking things by time, except perhaps, for those adventurous pioneers exploring the fringes of our universe's existance, either at the tiny, atomic scales, or the gigantic time lapses of eons. For the rest of us, rest assured, there is plenty, downright plenty, of time to experience, and remember.

Visually Pleasing

We believe that appearances matter. Yes, data integrity is of utmost importance, but good user-interfaces help people work with that data. Visual cues bring it to life. Color is an important tool in helping us differentiate things. Images help us identify things in an instant.

Optimized Workflows

If you spend any amount of time in front of our apps, you'll come to appreciate the many shortcuts and workflow optimizations that we've designed in. Not only are we the builders of these apps, but avid users ourselves. We make oft-repeated actions as easy as we can, so that you can work as quickly as possible.

Import / Export

By the time version 1.0 hits the market, rest assured that we'll support robust Import/Export capabilities. We'd love to empower your existing data, and so we'll help you bring it into the tool (Import). And yet, we don't want to hold it hostage -- it is yours, and you ought to be able to take it with. We want this to be a tool you can rely on, even if that means helping you leave (Export).
