FAQ - Installation

What are the system requirements to run Timeliner?

For this answer, please refer to the Timeliner System Requirements Page.

How do I install Timeliner?

Currently Timeliner comes inside of a compressed 'zip' file. Double-click on the Timeliner_*.zip file to expand it. Open the folder that gets created, and find the Timeliner app inside. You may run Timeliner from anywhere, by double-clicking on the app. Many people move it into their 'Applications' folder with the rest of their applications.

How do I uninstall Timeliner?

Timeliner can be uninstalled by removing the application file (where ever you chose to put it -- we recommend the /Applications directory, but it will run from anywhere). Also remove the following folders (if they are present):
    /Users//Library/Application Support/Lumieria/Timeliner
    /Users//Library/Preferences/Lumieria/Timeliner

Should I save old versions of Timeliner when new ones come out?

No, it is unlikely that you'll need them. Several of the most recent versions of Timeliner are available for download here on the Lumieria web site. If you should ever need an older version, you can likely find it there. Or, just email us.
